Dalsland is one of the most popular tourist destinations for nature lovers. Try a unique way to experience nature by pedaling the dressin on the railway tracks built in 1928. Enjoy the scents, the buzzing of the birds and the blooming meadows.
Start the day by renting your dressin - single or tandem - from the railway station in Bengtsfors or in Årjäng (Kyrkeruds Folkhögskola). Then head out on the tour. The railway track between Bengtsfors and Årjäng is 50 km long. You can stop at the kiosk at Silverlake Camp in Kråkviken or at the small grocery store in Gustavsfors to buy some fluids.
The adventure can be made even better by combining the tour with a canoe trip, which is ideal in the landlocked area.

It is recommended that you book your dressin in advance. Bring swimwear if the weather permits, there is a swimming area in Kråkviken.
You don't have to cycle all the way, it's fine to turn around whenever you want.

| Får man ta med sin hund? | It is up to the dog owners to decide what their dog can handle. But you should know that cycling dressin is not silent and some dogs may find it a bit unpleasant. But feel free to come and test a few meters before you decide to bring your dog. |
| Do children have to wear helmets? | No, it's not a requirement but a recommendation, riding dressin is not 100% risk-free, but if you follow our safety rules, this shouldn't be a problem. |
| Can you drink alcohol during the tour? | We advise against all consumption of alcohol precisely because of the safety risks that may arise. If we see that someone is too drunk, we will not send them out on the track. |
| Do you have to cycle the whole way? | No, you don't have to, many of our customers cycle about half the distance before turning around and cycling back. Another option is to book transport of the dressing (a transport fee is added) and then take the bus back. |
| Is there a toilet after the route? | There is a toilet at Silverlake, Kråkviken (outside), in Gustavsfors and at the station in Årjäng. |
| Is there a cafe or shop after the route? | Between Bengtsfors and Gustavsfors you have Silverlake where you can buy liquid refills and ice cream. In Gustavsfors you will find a grocery store, café and restaurants. Between Gustavsfors and Årjäng, we recommend that you pack food/drink as nature is the closest store. |
| What about meetings of other dressins? | The dressiners coming from Bengtsfors have priority, which means that those cycling from Årjäng need to lift their dressin off the track and let the oncoming ones pass. |
